Potential short-term effects (low quality evidence), weak positive evidence (more than 6 months) (White 2014 – Cochrane update)(1)

Wang etc. 2019 ( SR &MA) 24 trials including 3984 candidates; acupuncture plus auricular acupressure showed more benefit for short-term cessation; Acupuncture in combination with counselling, educational smoking cessation program had more benefit for long-term cessation (2).
